When and how did you get into your current business?
I studied Egyptology and History of Art, so my background is far removed from the adult Industry. 12 years ago I came across the opportunity to supervise the Risqué Boutique design. Back then, I must confess to have found my vocation. As soon as I entered this shop it felt 100% right, I knew from the start that I was in love with this place. The big Risque family was about to be born. It’s been a wonderful adventure, one of a kind, something that you cannot forget.

A typical day?
Arriving with a smile, seeing the team happy, chat to see if everything is going well, ordering, dealing with suppliers, marketing, welcoming our customers and plenty of other things…. I love my job very much and it’s always a pleasure for me to go to work.

The most significant influence in my working career was?
The free exchange of ideas between the staff and I. This free exchange will prevent businesses from growing stale and rigid.

I’m most proud of?
To have created a solid reality in the Kings Cross region adult life and see the satisfaction in our customer’s eyes.

One of the most memorable moments was?
Costume parties in Sydney with my staff. We had surely some amazing times.

Last book I read?
On Liberty by John Stuart Mill, dedicated to one simple principle, that men and women should be free to do as they please, unless their actions might cause harm to others.

Favourite movie/TV show?
Donkey Skin, an old French Classic fairy tale.

What would most people not know about me?
I am a Digital Artist and a passionate philosophy student.

My favourite place:
The vibrancy of NYC.

When I’m not working I’d rather be doing:
Studying philosophy and creating art.

What I like best about my job:
It gives me the freedom to be who I am. I found myself confortable to help people with my personal experience.
If I could change one thing:

Less stress and more sex for everyone…
