Los Angeles, CA, — “The Submission of Emma Marx: Evolved” was honored at the 2018 XBIZ Awards with wins for Best Actress in a Feature Release for leading lady Penny Pax and Screenplay of the Year for writer and director Jacky St. James.

The acclaimed new sequel in New Sensations’ blockbuster BDSM series opened a new chapter in the life of Emma Marx, one of adult cinema’s most enthralling and complex protagonists — now on her own and taking charge of her first submissive.

“I am so thankful to receive this award for Best Actress from XBIZ for ‘The Submission of a Emma Marx,'” Penny Pax said. “Bringing the role of Emma to life has been a dream come true and I owe it all to Jacky St. James for believing in me!”

“Acting and writing wins mean so much to me as a director and writer,” Jacky St. James said. “I was thrilled that both Penny and I were recognized for our work and am grateful to have had the opportunity to revisit Emma Marx for New Sensations.”

Digital Sin was also recognized with a big win at this year’s award show, taking home All-Sex Release of the Year for “The XXX Rubdown 2.” The second volume in the celebrated erotic massage series was helmed by award-winning director Eddie Powell and stars superstar Abella Danger, Karlee Grey, Ashley Adams, and Giselle Palmer.
